Ghana United Nations Students and Youth Association

The Ghana United Nations Students and Youth Association was formed here in Ghana on the 24th of october, 1964. The main reason for the formation of this assocaition is to constitute a mouthpiece for students and the youth and also fight for peace.It is popularly known or referred to as GUNSA. You might be wondering why the acronym is GUNSA which means Ghana United Nations Students and Youth Association but the there is no "y" in the acronym, well its because if the "Y" should be added to it, it wouldn't be an acronym because it will be hard to pronounce and hence the name GUNSA.

This association ever since it was formed has seeked to address students problems and also given students and the youth the chance to unearth their potentials and their God given talents.Ghana happens to be a member of the United Nations of which at least you know something about.GUNSA has a lot to offer to students and the youth and if you are not a member, then i can say you are missing something great because those who have passed through GUNSA are the most potential and very influential in the society. The achievements of GUNSA is so numerous.GUNSA has oraganised various workshops, seminars, symposiums which have helped broadened their minds and also enlightened them on certain things they were not aware of.It has also taken most students out of the country to attend conferences in the United states , and even has helped students to gain admission into the tertiary level with ease.Well i cannot say all the good things one stand to gain from being a member but i can promise you will never regret it.One spectacular thing about GUNSA is the way members gain so much confidence and very debative as a result of the style GUNSA is operated.Check out our aims, objectives and functions and you will be thrilled at what you will learn.Be free to leave all your comments and we are ever ready to reply and help you in any way we can.
